VMWare Virtual Data Protection Installlation

In case some of you decide to deploy VMWare Virtual Data Protection Appliance and integrate it into vCenter Server or linux Appliance there’s very handy vSphere Data Protection Administration Guide located at:
http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-55/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/vmware-data-protection-administration-guide-551.pdf
but as I have discoverd it missing one quite important info: root password after installing vdp server:)
The password is

changeme

So after deployning an OVF template with VDP appliance browse to:
https://<IP_address_VDP_Appliance>:8543/vdp-configure/
enter above password and continue as describe in admin guide.
Hope this saves you time I have spent to figure it out:)

I am passionate about Systems Administration. I like to face new challenges and test new environments.Windows and Linux Debian boxes (both physical and virtual) are my favourites. I like solving problems related to Windows Server roles and services as well as Linux but some distributions in particular. I'm not considering myself as Linux master but surely, I always do my best to fit the needs. On the other hand I consider myself as a Windows Server Professional and in terms of WS and Windows Desktops I always follow best practices, good advices and opinions from other admins.
